讓孩子明白「守信用」的重要
「守信」是一種對他人的承諾，也是一種對自我的負責。守信用的人，往往能得到大家的信任，我們不需要和別人立下多大的誓言，如果能夠從日常生活中的「我會乖乖遵守規則」來培養起，試著讓孩子完成一件簡單的小事，其實就是一個有責任感的表現。
‧家中孩子是否也會這樣呢？
1. 吃完飯就把餐具放在桌上
孩子們可以思考看看，家人辛苦為我們做的美味佳餚，你能夠全部吃光光的話，那是非常棒的一件事！但是你吃完了卻沒有將餐具收拾乾淨，那你就已經沒有做到與家人之間的「約定」囉！既然有人為我做飯，那就換我幫忙收拾餐具，慰勞辛苦的家人；而且我自己的餐具要自己收拾，也是對自我的負責和對他人的重視喔！

當孩子已經和別人約定好了，卻又和其他人有約時，他應該怎麼做呢？
1. 完全忘記當初的約定，當事人提起之後只說自己忘記了。〔X〕
2. 選擇哪個人的約會是自己想要去的，捨棄另一個人的約會。〔X〕
