The ASUMI series is part of the Re-Tableware collection from Japan—an eco-friendly line crafted with reused Mino Ware clay. Pottery, once fired, cannot return to the earth even after a thousand years. For decades, unused tableware could only be discarded into landfills.

Re-Tableware reimagines this cycle. By finely crushing old pottery and blending 20% recycled clay into new clay, artisans give beautiful ceramics a second life.

The ASUMI rice bowl features soft, matte colors with a gentle embossed pattern that blends Japanese and Western design influences. Cozy, warm, and versatile, it suits both soups and rice and fits comfortably in your hands. Available in two calming shades: Cream and Soft Pink.
