Overview
Made in Nara, Japan, this KAYA 7-layer gauze kitchen dish cloth is crafted from traditional kaya fabric, originally used for mosquito nets. The open-weave structure allows air to flow while maintaining durability and absorbency, a technique refined through centuries of Japanese craftsmanship.
Each cloth is woven in Nara and finished with embroidery and printing in Wakayama. Before first use, soaking the cloth in clean water helps soften the fabric and activate its full absorbency. With continued use and washing, the seven-layer gauze becomes fluffier and increasingly gentle to the touch.
Designed for everyday kitchen use, this cloth is ideal for wiping tables, washing dishes, and cleaning kitchen surfaces. It dries quickly, does not shed lint, and turns routine cleaning into a calm, satisfying experience.
This set includes one blue floral cloth and one yellow floral cloth, making it a practical and cheerful pair for daily kitchen routines.
