For children growing up overseas, Chinese is often less intuitive and takes more time and guidance to feel familiar. Through shared reading, Yo! Baby hopes to help children build confidence and develop a positive connection with the language in a natural and enjoyable way.
This summer, we’re introducing the “10-Book Reading Challenge” to encourage children to build a reading habit step by step. With a simple reading tracker, each book they complete becomes part of their language journey and a meaningful summer memory.
In addition to reading their favorite topics, we also encourage children to explore new and unfamiliar genres—opening the door to new interests, ideas, and a deeper love for reading Chinese.
From 6/1/2026 - 7/10/2026, read at least 10 Chinese books to earn a
$10 Yo! Gift Card.
HOW TO REDEEM:
- Enter below and download the Summer Reading Challenge Tracker to start logging your mandarin reading journey with your kids. Ways to redemption your Yo! Gift Card book is also included in the tracker. Enjoy your reading!
- Once10 books are completed, take a picture of your child(ren)'s favorite book(s) along with this sheet;
- Post to brag about your awesome mission completed (you deserve it!) on Facebook and/or Instagram with hashtag #yo閱讀挑戰一夏 and tag @yobaby_shop. Make sure to set privacy as Public so we can see it.
- Like or follow our fan page account (FB, Instagram) and private message or email us to redeem your prize.
