At Yo! Baby Shop, everything begins from a mom’s heart — from a mom’s heart, love and heritage.

Our story began in 2017, when Wendy, a Taiwanese immigrant mom in the U.S., hoped her children could grow up with the warmth and richness of our Asian roots. Yet she found it difficult to access the Chinese books and parenting essentials that felt natural to us back home in Taiwan. So she started Yo! Baby Shop to make those everyday connections possible for families like ours.

From the very beginning, we’ve chosen as only a mom would: thinking first of what families here truly need, bringing what moms in Taiwan already love and trust, and finally asking ourselves — “Would I choose this for my own kids?” That’s how every product, from books to parenting goodies, earns its place here.

In 2019, we opened our first Los Angeles store, which quickly became more than a shop. Families gathered for Mandarin Storytime, arts and crafts, music, and cultural events — creating a corner of warmth and belonging in a new place.

Today, our mission stays the same: to connect Taiwanese and Asian families in North America with the culture and lifestyle of Taiwan and Asia, through books, products, and experiences. We believe every child can grow up embracing the richness of two cultures, confident in who they are, and proud of their heritage.
